The New College Durham Foundation Degree develops HR and business management knowledge, combining practical learning with workplace readiness. Delivered with CECOS College London, it features recruitment simulations and startup planning to build professional skills. Graduates are prepared for HR, recruitment and training roles, or progression to a BSc (Hons) top-up degree.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have either two years of relevant work experience or a Level 3 Diploma (minimum 60 credits) in a business related subject (or overseas Equivalent Qualification).
Progression Opportunities
Graduates have progressed into roles across small businesses, startups, local councils, recruitment agencies, retail organisations, training consultancies, and corporate HR departments. Successful completion also provides progression to a BA (Hons) Management top-up or other relevant bachelor’s degree programmes.
